Asin Rubbishes Divorce Rumours with Husband Rahul Sharma: ‘We’re Literally Sitting Across Each Other Enjoying Our Breakfast’

Actress Asin Thottumkal has recently addressed the rumours circulating about her divorce from husband Rahul Sharma. The speculation began when fans noticed that Asin had deleted all her photos with Rahul from her Instagram account, leading to questions about the status of their relationship.

In a post on her Instagram account, Asin dismissed the rumours as “very imaginative and utterly baseless.” She wrote, “In the middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’.”

Asin and Rahul, who is the owner of the Indian tech giant Micromax, were married in an intimate ceremony on January 19, 2016. They were blessed with a baby girl in October 2017. The couple was introduced by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who believed they would make a good match.

Despite removing most of the pictures, Asin has chosen to keep one photo with her husband on her Instagram account. The photo is a black-and-white picture from Asin and Rahul’s wedding reception, where they were joined by the late actor Rishi Kapoor.

The actress, known for her role in the blockbuster movie Ghajini alongside Aamir Khan, last posted on Instagram in October 2022. However, a fan page dedicated to Asin claimed that she had deleted her photos with Rahul as early as February.

The fan page further stated, “This is not the first time she deleted her posts, also, like she has deleted, for example, her parents’ wedding anniversary pic, does that mean she has some issues with them? She has deleted the post about Sridevi on her demise, does that mean she no longer loves Sridevi?

Asin’s clarification puts an end to the speculation and reaffirms the strength of her relationship with Rahul. Her post serves as a reminder of the potential pitfalls of interpreting social media actions as indicators of personal relationships.
